EXTRA! EXTRA! Read ALL about it!

As most of you know Jack is in his last semester of seminary. It has been an amazing, tough, fun, long and short three years. Graduation is May 20, yes, that's a month away! That means ...

Our news involves the same state ...

a different county ...

and a new town ...

We are excited to announce that this passed Sunday Westview Baptist Church in Opp, AL has called Jack to be their Associate Pastor for Student Ministries. We will be moving to Opp at the beginning of June. We are excited about starting our ministry down there and looking forward to the opportunities that the Lord has. Of course we are sad about leaving Lakeview, the precious church that has helped "raise us" the last eight years.  We are forever thankful for the role Lakeview has had in our life. I am sad to leave my position as the Youth Girls Director but excited about serving alongside Jack as we serve the youth in Opp.

I hope the maps have helped you figure out where it is so you can come see us! We will have room for guests so come on down! Please be praying for us as we make this transition. Pray for Jack to finish school well and me to finish up work well.

Happy Feet

About 2 years ago Jack and I got to talking about shoes and how we both always wanted Gray New Balance tennis shoes but neither ever had one. So, for my birthday Jack bought me a pair. About that same time I started running trying to run. So they looked like this out of the box:

And almost 2 years later and LOTS of miles they look like this: 

Now, you may think they don't look that bad BUT I have worn the sole out to the point my arches SCREAM when I put them on and I have managed to poke a hole in the top of the left one. So, Jack and I got to looking around and found some that felt amazing and were specifically for running and on SALE! (Jack is Mr. Bargain - even the NB we got were on BIG time sale!)

 Introducing Nike Pegasus 27. Supposedly Marathoners wear them, I'm no Marathoner but maybe one day.

These were AMAZING to run in last night! I told Jack it was like running on fluffy clouds ... well, I would be barefoot if I could run on clouds but you know what I mean. :)

I was quite excited so I thought I'd share!
