Allergy Season

Last Sunday I woke up and this is what I looked like:
Ok, well my eyes were closed like his. Both of them, and if you know me I have big eyes so thats a tough thing to get them BOTH closed that much :) I knew allergy season was officially here and so was the sinus infection. I am thankful for a good doctor that hooked me up with a shot, a z-pack, and eye drops. By Tuesday I looked much less "Quasimodoish."
I am officially all better and taking my allergy medicine very carefully so as to avoid that "look" again!
Happy Spring Ya'll!

Happy Birthday William!

(should be dated February 17, 2011)

I cannot believe you are THREE years old! It seems like just yesterday that I got the call from your mommy and daddy telling me they were going to see Mawmaw and G-daddy to tell them! I screamed and then cried and then called Uncle Jack to tell him! What a joy you have been from the beginning! My favorite pre-birth memory was walking into your mommy and daddy's house and your mom exclaiming "Terri Leigh! only ... ??" and I said "16 days!" to which she quickly put her hands on her belly and said "hey buddy, you gotta get out of there!" Yes, your rockstar mama had a bridesmaid dress to wear as I married Uncle Jack. You were born 13 days before we got married! I held you everyday over those 13 days so that you wouldn't forget me when I went on my honeymoon. You can always make me smile. On a bad day I can call your mommy and she says " come see us - we can make you smile!" You learn new things ALL the time and remember EVERYTHING. The way you say things or tell me "T, I not say dat wight" make me laugh. I am thankful for our "chick a lay" dates and that you like to come to my pond. You are an excellent shopper and goodness you even tell me I'm pretty when my hair is up in rollers. You are truly a doll! You are the only person who can just take my water bottle and after drinking the WHOLE thing bring it back to me just a smilin' like you didn't do anything out of the ordinary. I pray that one day you too will know your sin and understand that you need a Savior. Truly greater than being your "Sweet T" would be being your sister in Christ. I am grateful that you are learning about Him at such an early age and I am praying that you will love Him and walk with Him for all the days to come. I love you little buddy and look forward to watching you grow up!

Valentine's Day (L O N G overdue!)

This is probably not what you expect from a Valentine's post! Jack and I had a great day - he cooked a yummy supper (Italian - we decided it was more romantic than anything else!) and then we went to the gym. The gym did provide flowers so I got a pretty pink rose on the way home :)
My mom was in town the weekend before V-day for William's birthday party and brought me some new rain boots. I am really tough on boots ... the pair pictured below I have had for just over a year. They were great, had a cute pink bow at the top and were just fun! Then they cracked ... and my feet got wet.

So, for Valentine's Day I got these! Aren't they cute? I am quite thankful my feet stay dry and they're cute!

Thanks Mom!

Happy birthday Jack!

Happy 26th birthday to my best friend and husband! It seems like we celebrated his birthday for a long time this year so it's fitting that this blog is going up 31 days late! We celebrated with lots of friends and family over lots of days! It was GREAT! More on him next week ... we have an Anniversary coming up!
Can't wait to celebrate 106 with you! :)

More National Championship

More for your browsing enjoyment ... WAR EAGLE!
W, G-dad, Mawmaw and Baby Gat

Me and my boys

We woke baby Gat up towards the end of the game ... he rode in the stroller and people liked him. He was a little sleepy.

Josh and Jessica - they watched the game with us and then went to roll Toomer's with us.

They have a picture like this from most important events ... and this one is no different. Thankful for their 32 years of marriage and example.

Me and Chelsea (cheche)

Sarah and W

(sigh) isn't it pretty?

WAR EAGLE!

Walking to check on the line at Tiger Rags - it was long. W is cheering "WAR EAGLE, GO TIGERS." over.and over. and over. (I've taught him well! haha)

I L O V E this picture!

Mom and I the next day - you didn't really walk on ground, you walked on toilet paper!

It's just beautiful!

Overdue ...

I am severely behind in the part of my life and I am still not happy  with how the blog looks. Any experts out there that want to help me let me know. I need the side colors to go up and my picture centered and the words centered on it. UGH. I was frustrated yesterday and just quit. I'm done complaining on to catch up!

AUBURN WON THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
I still can't believe it. I see signs around town and just grin. It was an incredible end to the year. I was nervous all day haha. It only increased as the game went on. Literally paced with my Sarah at the end of the game. William thought it was just grand all the shouting and hollering.

Jack grilled Duck for supper :) I was preparing for the Tigers to literally grill Duck in Arizona.

All decked out ready to play!

waiting on that last kick ... soooo nervous!

first sights of Toomer's

My little buddy - it was way passed his bedtime yet he continually called out "WAR EAGLE!"

The family at Toomer's - Jack was at the house cleaning up and Billy was in Arizona.

The next day - isn't it beautiful?!

More to come later ....

Under Construction ...

Hey! I needed to update my "code" on shabbyblogs and that led me to attempting to make the whole blog "prettier" ... Give me time! :)
